Alfa & Omega NBS in George, Western Cape, is seeking a Maintenance Technician (Handyman) to perform a variety of repair and maintenance tasks across the site, following directions from the Operations Manager and maintaining a safe working environment.

The role focuses on carrying out daily maintenance tasks logged as faults, delivering high-quality service to both internal and external clients through clear communication, and fulfilling night and weekend duties as scheduled while participating

Qualifications

Maintenance knowledge and ability to perform repairs as faults are logged.

Responsibilities

General Maintenance: Ensures that all maintenance tasks are carried out on a daily base according to faults logged.
Customer Service: Maintain high level of service delivery to internal and external clients through effective communication channels.
Centre Night and Weekend duties: Successful execution of night and weekend duties as per schedule.
Risk Management: Identifies and manages business risk. Ensures compliance with relevant Acts. Controls, manages and governs the processes and systems within area of accountability to ensure compliance and minimise the business risk.
Self Development: Participates in training and development initiatives in line with personal development plans. Identifies training / development needs and pro-actively selects effective solutions to address development gaps.
