Job summary

ProStaffSelect is seeking a hands-on Restaurant General Manager and business manager for a busy 120-seat tapas restaurant and artisan brewery near Stellenbosch. The role oversees daily operations and drives profitability.

You will lead staff, manage stock and budgets, ensure exceptional guest experiences, and collaborate with Head Chef and owners. Strong wine and craft beer knowledge, and proficiency with POS systems are essential.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in managing a busy hospitality operation.
• Experience with wine and craft beer is essential.
• Experience in budgeting, stock control and GP targets.
• Ability to train and motivate service standards.
• Strong knowledge of POS and operating systems.
• Collaborates with Head Chef and owners.
• Self-driven to meet personal targets and incentives.
