Job summary

Time Personnel is seeking a hands-on Property & Maintenance Manager to oversee maintenance across residential and commercial properties in Germiston. The role requires managing a small maintenance team, coordinating day-to-day tasks, and ensuring high-quality workmanship across sites.

You will perform hands-on repairs, troubleshoot issues, and liaise with external contractors for larger projects. A valid driver’s license, Matric and practical maintenance skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Matric certificate required.
• Valid driver's license and own reliable transport.
• Proven experience in general maintenance or handyman work.
• Strong practical skills in plumbing, carpentry and general repairs.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks.
• Experience supervising or leading a small team is advantageous.
• Willingness to travel between sites.
• Self-starter with ability to work independently.
• Trustworthy, reliable and dedicated.

Responsibilities

• Conduct general maintenance and repairs across residential and commercial properties.
• Perform hands-on tasks including fixing cupboards, taps, leaks and water damage.
• Inspect roofs and carry out minor roof-related maintenance ( comfortable working at heights).
• Troubleshoot and resolve day-to-day maintenance issues efficiently.
• Supervise and manage two maintenance team members.
• Coordinate with external contractors for specialized repairs or larger projects.
• Ensure all maintenance work is completed timeously and to a high standard.
• Maintain tools, equipment and maintenance records.
• Conduct routine inspections to proactively identify potential issues.
