Job summary

Time Personnel is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Supervisor to oversee maintenance and repairs across residential and commercial properties in Johannesburg. The role requires supervising two team members, coordinating with external contractors, and frequent travel between sites.

The ideal candidate will have strong practical skills in plumbing and carpentry, be able to perform physically demanding tasks, and work independently with a high attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Matric and a valid driver’s license with own transport.
• Experience in general maintenance or handyman work is essential.
• Willingness to travel between sites and work at heights.

Responsibilities

• Conduct general maintenance and repairs across residential and commercial properties.
• Perform hands-on tasks including fixing cupboards, repairing taps, leaks, and water damage.
• Inspect roofs and perform minor roof maintenance at heights.
• Troubleshoot and resolve day-to-day maintenance issues.
• Supervise and manage two maintenance team members.
• Coordinate with external contractors for specialized repairs or larger projects.
• Ensure work is completed on time and to a high standard.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and maintenance records.
• Conduct routine inspections to identify potential issues.

DUTIES

• Conduct general maintenance and repairs across residential and commercial properties
• Perform hands‑on tasks including fixing cupboards, repairing taps, addressing leaks, and identifying water damage
• Inspect roofs and carry out minor roof‑related maintenance (must be comfortable working at heights)
• Troubleshoot and resolve day‑to‑day maintenance issues efficiently
• Supervise and manage two maintenance team members
• Coordinate and liaise with external contractors for specialized repairs or larger projects
• Ensure all maintenance work is completed timeously and to a high standard
• Maintain tools, equipment, and maintenance records
• Conduct routine inspections to proactively identify potential issues
