Job summary

Star Personnel Recruitment (Pty) Ltd. is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for a large complex near Rondebosch. This role requires hands-on maintenance skills and the ability to interact with residents.

You will manage painting, tiling, carpentry, and basic plumbing tasks, supervise planned maintenance, obtain supplier quotes, and report to the Manager. A valid driver’s licence is required.

Qualifications

• Hands-on maintenance skills across painting, tiling, carpentry, and basic plumbing.
• Valid driver’s licence.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills to engage with residents.
• Proactive with the ability to identify issues and establish priorities.
• Experience with scheduling maintenance and obtaining supplier quotes is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on maintenance across painting, tiling, carpentry and basic plumbing.
• Interact with residents with good people skills.
• Identify issues and set priorities proactively.
• Assist in scheduling planned maintenance.
• Obtain quotes for materials and minor works.
• Assist with driver duties when required (licence held).
• Report to the Manager.
