Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience in bar supervision or junior management.
• Experience in bar/pub/restaurant hospitality environment.
• Strong stock control and cash handling knowledge.
• Experience supervising and developing staff.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willing to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.
• Residing within reasonable commuting distance to Randburg.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of the pool bar.
• Supervise, motivate and manage bar staff to ensure service excellence.
• Conduct regular stock takes and monitor stock levels.
• Manage stock ordering and investigate variances.
• Perform daily cash-ups and reconcile sales.
• Ensure opening and closing procedures are followed.
• Monitor attendance, performance and discipline.
• Maintain cleanliness, hygiene and safety standards.
• Handle customer queries and resolve complaints professionally.
• Ensure compliance with policies and liquor licensing regulations.
• Assist with staff scheduling and shift management.
