The ideal candidate has a trade qualification in mechanical fitting or millwright and proven industrial experience, with hands-on skills in pumps, conveyors, hydraulic and pneumatic systems. A proactive mindset and precision work ethic are essential.

Qualifications

• Trade qualification in Mechanical Fitting, Millwright, or related field.
• Proven experience as a Mechanical Maintenance Technician in an industrial setting.
• Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical systems, including gearbox, bearings, and couplings.
• Proficient with precision tools and measurement equipment.
• Understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Strong problem-solving and proactive maintenance mindset.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on pumps, conveyors, and hydraulic systems.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical failures using appropriate tools.
• Read and interpret mechanical drawings, blueprints, and equipment manuals.
• Conduct inspections to identify issues before breakdowns.
• Assist installation and commissioning of new mechanical equipment.
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance and repair activities.
