Job summary

Core Group ZA is seeking a Lead Full Stack Developer to be the senior-most hands-on engineer in a delivery team. You’ll design and build the most complex, high-risk features across web and back-end services that power Core Group’s omnichannel platform, while raising the technical standard through strong design, code reviews and mentorship.

You’ll work across Angular/React front ends, .NET/C#, Node.js and SQL/NoSQL stores on Microsoft Azure, writing clean, versioned APIs and leading peer reviews

Qualifications

• 8+ years in full-stack software development.
• Recent experience as a senior or lead engineer.
• Deep hands-on experience across Angular, React, .NET/C#, Node.js, SQL Server, PostgreSQL and Cosmos DB.
• Strong Azure and API design with versioning.
• Excellent design, code-quality, testing and secure-coding discipline.
• Strong problem-solving and mentoring abilities.

Responsibilities

• Design and build complex end-to-end features across web front ends and back-end services.
• Lead code and peer reviews and champion automated testing.
• Develop and maintain APIs and data contracts for web and mobile clients.
• Translate architecture into component and data designs for the team.
• Mentor engineers and influence others without formal line management.
• Build integrations between e-commerce, POS, ERP/OMS/WMS/CRM using Azure tech.
• Support production issues and readiness for peak trading and major launches.
