The role requires tertiary qualification and at least five years in cold store management, strong leadership, financial acumen, and the ability to develop staff and manage client relationships to grow volumes.

Qualifications

• Tertiary degree required; minimum 5 years’ experience as Cold Store Manager.
• Extensive operational knowledge of cold chain logistics.
• Proven knowledge of fruit and vegetable products.
• Strong financial acumen and cost control experience.
• Leadership experience and staff development.
• Collaboration and stakeholder management skills.
• Customer-centric approach and relationship building.

Responsibilities

• Manage budget and P&L of the facility.
• Oversee and manage the entire operations of the cold store facility.
• Ensure adherence to PPECB cold chain SOPs and SOPs.
• Drive Health & Safety compliance to maintain a safe workplace.
• Process and cost management; resource management.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients and key stakeholders to grow volumes.
