Tsebo Solutions Group is seeking a dedicated HALAAL compliance professional to monitor kitchen and service operations for HALAAL conformity within our Western Cape facilities. You will inspect deliveries, maintain separation controls, and support staff training on HALAAL practices and food safety standards.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 (Matric) or equivalent; relevant qualification in Catering, Hospitality, or Food Production
• Proven experience in a HALAAL kitchen or catering environment
• Strong knowledge of HALAAL standards and compliance requirements
• Experience in staff supervision and kitchen operations
• Food Safety certification (advantageous)
• Good communication and organizational skills

Responsabilités

• Monitor daily kitchen and service operations for HALAAL compliance.
• Monitor day-to-day food preparation and service for HALAAL compliance.
• Inspect and verify deliveries, ingredients and suppliers against HALAAL requirements.
• Maintain separation controls for HALAAL and non-HALAAL products where required.
• Conduct routine HALAAL and hygiene checks across kitchen and service areas.
• Ensure correct documentation, logs and audit records are completed and updated.
• Support staff training on HALAAL practices, hygiene and food safety.
• Identify non-compliance and escalate where necessary.
• Assist with client queries, inspections and audits.
• Maintain Tsebo quality, food safety, and health and safety standards.
