Job summary

Tsebo Solutions Group in Parow, South Africa, is seeking a diligent kitchen assistant to help with food preparation, salad and dessert items, and serving on the line. You will keep areas clean, stocked, and compliant with hygiene standards, and support training of new staff.

This role requires teamwork, reliability, good hand-eye coordination, and the stamina to work 45–50 hours per week. You must be 18+ with a Matric.

Qualifications

• Must meet cleanliness and hygiene regulations.
• Meet quality standards for customer service, safety and food standards.
• Assist in meal preparation, especially salads and desserts.
• Serve entrees, salads, desserts and other food on the serving line.
• Keep serving line stocked and clean.
• Assist in training new employees.
• Store and record food leftovers.
• Keep canteen tables, kitchen and areas clean and orderly.
• Meet customer expectations within contract.
• Provide high level of customer service.
• Count and sign over stock to next shift when applicable.
• Attend meetings and training as necessary.
• Perform related work as assigned.
