Princess Cruises seeks a Guest Services Officer on Blue Ensign SA to deliver exceptional guest service aboard our ship in South Africa. You will quickly learn ship procedures, onboard product, itineraries, and ports of call to assist guests accurately.

Ideal candidates have hotel/front desk experience, strong English, and solid computer skills. The role emphasizes empathy, professionalism, and proactive problem-solving within hotel policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a recognized hotel or business school or 1 year front desk experience.
• Proficiency in computer-based programs.
• Excellent command of the English language.

Responsibilities

• Deliver guest service standards per hotel policies.
• Know ship procedures, onboard product, itinerary to answer guest questions.
• Listen with empathy; escalate to supervisor when appropriate.
• Present a welcoming, professional appearance to guests.
• Record and follow up on guest complaints in Focus system.
• Handle cash transactions and balance cash float daily.
• Use hotel systems and hand over information to on-duty colleagues.
