Job summary

Princess Cruises is seeking a Jr Waiter - BECSEA to support the Restaurant team aboard our ships, based in South Africa. You will greet guests, assist with table settings, and help deliver food and beverages while upholding our service standards and USPH protocols.

We prefer graduates from Catering/Hotel Management School with at least 2 years of restaurant or cruise service experience and solid English communication.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a recognized Catering / Hotel Management School preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant service experience (restaurant or cruise ship).
• Knowledge of food, beverage and wine menus used throughout the fleet.

Responsibilities

• Provides a positive first impression with a warm greeting and professional appearance.
• Maintains engagement with guests and anticipates their needs during service.
• Adjusts service to guest preferences and ensures accurate course delivery.
• Prepare table settings and maintain clean service stations.
• Assist Waiter to deliver food and beverages promptly and address any issues.
• Follow company guidelines and USPH protocols.
