Career Growth Hospitality Recruitment & Training is seeking a highly organised Guest Liaison for a prestigious luxury lodge & spa in Stellenbosch. The role focuses on planning exceptional guest experiences behind the scenes, with a strong background in reservations and concierge services.

You will manage email/enquiries, pre-plan itineraries, and assist with restaurant bookings, tours and transfers while maintaining up-to-date knowledge of rates and offers.

Qualifications

• Qualification in Hospitality, Travel or Tourism preferred.
• 2-3 years' experience in concierge, reservations, or guest services.
• Experience with PMS systems.
• Strong English communication skills.
• Organised and detail oriented.

Responsibilities

• Handle reservation inquiries with 2-hour response time.
• Pre-plan personalised itineraries for arrivals.
• Assist with bookings, tours, and transfers.
• Maintain knowledge of room rates and offers.
• Check bookings for daily accuracy.
• Personalise stays using guest history.
• Prepare daily arrivals and inform departments by 10:00.
• Update booking notes on a rolling two‑week cycle.
• Support lodge reservations as needed.

Career Growth Hospitality Recruitment are looking for a highly organised, detail-oriented and service-driven Guest Liaison to join a prestigious luxury lodge & spa based in Stellenbosch.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives behind the scenes, enjoys planning exceptional guest experiences, and has a strong background in reservations and concierge services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage all incoming emails and reservation enquiries with accuracy and within a 2-hour response time
• Pre-plan and compile personalised itineraries prior to guest arrival
• Assist guests with restaurant bookings, tours, transfers, and bespoke experiences
• Maintain thorough knowledge of all room rates, special offers, and contracted rates
• Ensure all bookings are checked daily for accuracy prior to arrival
• Utilise guest history to personalise and enhance each stay
• Handle Special Attention Guests requests with care and attention to detail
• Prepare and manage daily arrivals, ensuring all departments are informed by 10h00
• Maintain and update booking notes on a rolling two-week cycle
• Assist with lodge reservations duties as required

Minimum Requirements:

• Qualification in Hospitality, Travel or Tourism (preferred)
• 2-3 years' experience in concierge, reservations, or guest services
• Experience working with PMS systems
• Strong computer skills (MS Outlook, Word, Excel)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Additional language skills advantageous
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work with high-end, international clientele
• Professional, calm, and service-focused approach
