Job summary

Winning Form is seeking an energetic hospitality team member in Durban to join our food and beverage operations. You will present menus, take orders, and ensure a professional customer experience in line with company standards.

You will manage cash and card payments, help with stock and opening/closing procedures, and respond to guest inquiries with courtesy and speed, while maintaining the venue's high service standards.

Qualifications

• Cash handling and reconciliation experience.
• Knowledge of GAAP or similar accounting basics.
• Experience in food and beverage operations.
• Stock monitoring and requisition experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensure uniforms and appearance meet dress code to project a professional image.
• Keep the takeaway area neat before opening, during service, and at closing.
• Prepare stock requisitions in advance and monitor stock levels.
• Maintain stocked fridges and rotate stock as required.
• Count cash floats with supervisor and report shortages.
• Greet and assist customers, present menus, and suggest daily specials.
• Process orders, enter them into GAAP/POS promptly, and ensure accuracy.
• Update customers on delays and manage complaints efficiently.
• Record payments, reconcile sales, and sign off on voids with supervisor.
• Document breakages and wastage; sign off personal purchases with supervisor.
