Placements24 is sourcing a Guest Relations Officer for a vibrant hospitality team in Tembisa. You will be the main contact for guests, ensuring a memorable stay from arrival to departure while upholding the establishment's high standards.

You will collaborate with hotel departments to coordinate requests, address inquiries, and resolve issues with professionalism. The role requires a warm, professional demeanor and flexibility to work evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in customer service, preferably within the hospitality industry.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and professional demeanor.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to handle stressful situations calmly.
• Proficiency in using hotel management systems and standard office software.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests warmly and assist with check-in and check-out procedures efficiently.
• Respond to guest inquiries and requests in a timely and courteous manner, both in person and over the phone.
• Resolve guest complaints and concerns with empathy and professionalism, escalating complex issues when necessary.
• Provide information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and dining recommendations.
• Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and food and beverage departments to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Maintain a high level of service and presentation, embodying the establishment's standards.
