Job summary

You will develop people, manage stock and promotions, and ensure customer service excellence while supporting safety and compliance across the store network.

Qualifications

• Sound numeracy skills and knowledge of the retail industry.
• 2-3 years retail experience an added advantage.
• Driver’s License is essential
• Must be able to pass assessments at the required level
• Must succeed in at least 2 competency-based interviews
• Must be flexible and willing to be transferred between stores
• Must authorize full credit and criminal checks
• Must have a valid South African ID and Driver’s license (code 08)

Responsibilities

• Maintain hygiene, housekeeping and safe working standards.
• Adhere to security procedures and merchandise/display standards.
• Conduct regular quality checks and ensure stock rotation.
• Remove damaged/expired stock and prevent wastage.
• Complete administration accurately and on time.
• Plan and implement sales promotions.
• Advise customers on products and services; respond to requests.
• Monitor budgets and profitability; adjust actions as needed.
• Optimize stock levels and ensure staff maintain standards.
