Job summary

Recruit for Africa, a leading South African footwear and apparel retailer, is seeking a Marketing and Ecommerce Coordinator to support digital marketing, e-commerce operations, and content creation in a fast-paced retail environment.

Based in Houghton Estate, Johannesburg, you will coordinate campaigns across platforms, manage content and assets, analyze performance with Google Analytics, and collaborate with agencies to drive online sales while upholding brand standards.

Qualifications

Degree or diploma in marketing, advertising, business administration, communications or a related field is beneficial.
At least 3 years experience as a Digital Marketing & Ecommerce coordinator.
Proficiency in HTML, CSS and other web development languages.
Experience with digital platforms, SEO and web analytics.
Experience with Shopify and related web design tools.

Responsibilities

Coordinate rollout of integrated marketing campaigns across multiple platforms with timely delivery.
Lead weekly content planning meetings and liaise with creatives for publication.
Compile monthly performance dashboards and provide actionable insights.
Manage relationships with agencies, influencers and platform managers (Meta, Google).
Maintain brand asset repository and ensure consistent usage across channels.
Track marketing spend, raise POs, process invoices and liaise with finance.
Train interns and new team members on tools and processes.
Develop SOPs to increase marketing workflow efficiency.
Assist in customer engagement strategy across social and digital touchpoints.
