Job summary

You will interview customers to clarify needs, develop relationships with prospects, and support data exploration and CRM updates while contributing to sales opportunities and service excellence.

Qualifications

• NQF Level 4 or Grade 12 (or equivalent) is required.
• National or Occupational Certificate or equivalent (Required).
• Closing Date 29 November 2026, 23:59 as per EA plan.

Responsibilities

• Carry out standard customer service activities and handle simple customer inquiries.
• Assess compliance with established standards for routine inquiries.
• Receive visitors and assist with information requests, referring complex matters to colleagues.
• Ensure that basic customer details are accurate in the CRM and note promised follow-ups.
• Interview the customer to clarify requirements using a multilevel sales script.
• Make calls to allocated potential customers to develop relationships and be the first contact for queries and complaints.
• Follow mandatory procedures to ensure quality standards and regulatory codes are met.
• Carry out routine business development support and follow established procedures.
• Identify potential customers by obtaining information, referrals and recommendations.
• Input data into spreadsheets or standard formats as needed.
• Demonstrate understanding of networking by participating in networks of people, technologies and ideas.
