Old Mutual Life Assurance Company (SA) Ltd (PFA) is seeking a customer service focused professional to handle routine inquiries, verify CRM data, and support business development. You will interview customers, clarify needs, and build relationships with prospects while following standard procedures.

The role involves delivering quality service, processing visitor requests, and ensuring data integrity in our systems, with responsibilities expanding to compliance and regular data updates.

Qualifications

• NQF Level 4 - Grade 12 or equivalent is required.
• Closing date: 29 November 2026 (23:59) per posting.
• Appointment will be made in line with Old Mutual South Africa Employment Equity Plan.

Responsibilities

• Carry out standard customer service activities and handle simple customer inquiries.
• Assess compliance with standards and protocols for routine inquiries.
• Receive visitors and assist with information requests, referring complex matters to colleagues.
• Ensure basic customer details in the system are accurate and note follow-ups.
• Interview customers to clarify requirements using a multilevel sales script.
• Make calls to allocated potential customers to develop relationships and be first contact for queries.
• Follow mandatory procedures to ensure quality and regulatory compliance.
• Carry out routine business development support tasks following established procedures.
• Identify potential customers by obtaining information and referrals from existing customers.
• Input data into spreadsheets or standard formats and engage in data exploration.
• Demonstrate understanding of networking by contributing to networks of people, technologies, and ideas.
