Placements24 in Durban, SA, seeks an E-commerce Content & SEO Specialist to boost organic visibility through compelling product descriptions, blog posts, and site copy. You will conduct keyword research, perform on-page and technical SEO audits, and collaborate with design and e-commerce teams to deliver high-quality content that drives traffic and conversions.

The ideal candidate has 2–3 years of content and SEO experience, a bachelor’s degree, and a portfolio of successful SEO projects.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, English, Journalism, or related field.
2–3 years of experience in content creation and SEO, preferably in e-commerce.
Demonstrated keyword research, content optimization, and link-building experience.
Proficiency with SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, or Ahrefs.
Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with attention to detail.
Understanding of HTML/CSS is beneficial.
Ability to analyze data and translate insights into content and SEO strategy.
Familiarity with CMS like WordPress and content management workflows.
A portfolio of successful content and SEO projects is highly recommended.

Responsibilities
