Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or national diploma in sales, business development, marketing or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years’ solid experience in business development and best practices within the sales environment.
• Strong sales and marketing knowledge, ideally in the cleaning cross-selling services industry.

Responsibilities

• Actively search, pursue, and engage potential clients.
• Manage proposals, bids and tender responses with high quality.
• Follow up leads from various channels and cold calling.
• Ensure tenders and bids are timely, professional and compliant.
• Engage and manage strategic suppliers for proposals and tenders.
• Identify weaknesses in the sales process and address them.
• Follow up on cancelled contracts and drive annual growth targets.
• Achieve monthly sales budgets with a defined marketing and sales strategy.
• Identify new growth opportunities by market segments.
• Use the full marketing mix for communications.
• Train the team on ISO22000/FSSC22000, R638 and PRP responsibilities in cleaning cross selling.
