Job summary

Communicate Finance seeks a qualified CA(SA) to lead group consolidations and financial reporting across multiple entities and currencies. You will coordinate with diverse finance teams, ensure IFRS-compliant reporting, and drive efficiency through NetSuite and related systems.

You will partner with auditors and senior stakeholders, manage deadlines, and contribute to budgeting and forecasting activities while strengthening internal controls and processes across the group.

Qualifications

• CA(SA) with 5+ years post-articles experience.
• Proven multi-entity and multi-currency consolidations.
• Strong IFRS knowledge and financial reporting standards.
• Experience engaging with auditors and senior stakeholders.
• Advanced ERP experience with NetSuite preferred.

Job Description

• Owning the preparation and reviewing of monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidated management accounts and financial statements
• Driving accurate multi-entity and multi-currency consolidation reporting across the group
• Partnering with finance teams across various African operations to ensure reporting consistency and accuracy
• Researching, interpreting, and implementing complex IFRS accounting treatments
• Managing group reporting deadlines and supporting the year-end audit process
• Liaising with external auditors and assisting in resolving technical accounting matters
• Working closely with FP&A teams on budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Supporting group tax, statutory, and secretarial reporting requirements
• Developing reporting templates, tools, and processes that improve efficiency and accuracy
• Leading initiatives to automate and streamlining finance processes through NetSuite and other finance systems
• Strengthening internal controls while maintaining practical and scalable processes
• Delivering training and support to finance teams across the group

Skills & Experience

• 5 years' post-articles experience
• Proven experience managing multi-entity and multi-currency consolidations
• Strong working knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting standards
• Experience engaging confidently with auditors and senior stakeholders
• Advanced ERP experience, preferably NetSuite
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• High attention to detail coupled with a commercial mindset
