Job summary

Craven Cottage CC seeks an experienced Property Manager to oversee the maintenance of multiple properties within the group. You will implement preventative maintenance programs and manage maintenance teams, contractors and service providers to ensure smooth operations.

The role requires strong budgeting, planning and leadership skills, with a solid understanding of health and safety regulations, and a track record of coordinating repairs and improvements across sites.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 is the minimum educational requirement.
• A formal qualification in property or facilities management is preferred.
• 3–5 years’ experience in Property/Facilities Management or a similar role is required.
• Strong knowledge of building maintenance and facilities operations is essential.
• Experience managing multiple properties or sites.
• Proven experience managing maintenance contractors and suppliers.
• Good understanding of Occupational Health & Safety regulations.
• Strong budgeting and cost-control experience.
• Excellent planning and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities.
• Computer literacy including Microsoft Office.
• Valid driver’s licence.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the maintenance and upkeep of multiple properties within the group.
• Implement preventative maintenance schedules and programs.
• Manage maintenance teams, contractors, and service providers.
• Conduct regular property inspections and identify areas requiring attention.
• Monitor building systems, equipment, and infrastructure.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory requirements.
• Manage maintenance budgets and control expenditure.
• Coordinate repairs, renovations, and improvement projects.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and asset registers.
• Source and negotiate with suppliers and contractors.
• Ensure minimal disruption to business operations during maintenance activities.
• Provide regular reports to senior management.
