Job summary

Craven Cottage CC is seeking a Fleet Manager in Johannesburg to plan, oversee, and coordinate all fleet management activities. You will ensure vehicles are well maintained, operating costs are controlled, and service intervals are tracked to maximise uptime.

You will lead a small team, implement tracking systems, address incidents, and enforce the company Fleet Policy while driving efficiency and compliance across the fleet portfolio.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 is required.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in Logistics and Fleet Management.
• Experience working with commercial vehicles.
• Strong mechanical knowledge.
• Sound administration skills.
• Own transport essential.

Responsibilities

• Plan, manage, supervise, and coordinate fleet management activities.
• Ensure vehicles are in good running order and assets are well maintained.
• Book vehicles for services, track service intervals, and report downtime.
• Prepare and monitor operating costs, fleet reports and dashboards.
• Address vehicle incidents and IODs and implement preventive measures.
• Oversee vehicle tracking installations and ensure policy compliance.
