Job summary

Craven Cottage CC in Gauteng seeks a skilled maintenance professional to look after day-to-day upkeep of buildings, facilities and equipment across the property, including accommodation, conference venues, spa and kitchens.

You will complete preventative tasks, respond to requests, maintain records and proactively identify maintenance needs while adhering to safety standards and hotel policies. A strong multi-skilled background in plumbing, electrical work or carpentry is essential.

Qualifications

• National Senior Certificate (Matric) or equivalent (Essential).
• A relevant trade test, apprenticeship, or technical certificate (e.g. electrical, plumbing, fitting and turning, building, carpentry) desirable and an advantage.
• Additional short courses in Health and Safety, basic electrical work, plumbing or general maintenance advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Maintain day-to-day facilities and equipment across accommodation, conference venues, spa, kitchens and public areas.
• Carry out preventative maintenance to reduce breakdowns and extend asset life.
• Respond promptly to work orders and maintenance requests from Facilities Manager and guests.
