• Proficiency in SAGE 300, MS Excel, OPERA.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills; cross-functional collaboration.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and manage financial policies, procedures, and controls across the group.
• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports for accuracy and compliance.
• Monitor and analyse financial performance; provide insights and recommendations to management.

• Conduct financial analysis and risk assessments to identify opportunities and improvements.
• Manage cash flows and working capital; optimize liquidity.

Reporting to the owner, the Group Financial Manager, will play a vital role in overseeing and managing the financial operations of the group, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and driving strategic financial growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop; implement, and manage financial policies, procedures, and controls across the group
• Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations
• Monitor and analyse financial performance, providing timely and accurate financial insights and recommendations to the management team
• Drive the annual budgeting and forecasting process, collaborating with department heads to ensure alignment with business objectives
• Conduct financial analysis and risk assessments to identify potential opportunities and areas for improvement
• Manage cash flows and working capital, optimizing financial resources and liquidity management
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations, liaising with external auditors and tax advisors as necessary
• Support the finance team in day-to-day operations, providing guidance and mentorship to foster professional growth and development

Requirements:

• SA Citizen
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; a master's degree and/or professional certifications (e.g., CPA, CMA) would be advantageous
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial management, within the hospitality industry
• Strong knowledge of financial and accounting principles, standards, and regulations
• Proven experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis

• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and senior management
