Job summary

Tanya Serra Food, Wine, Hospitality Recruitment is seeking a Group Financial Manager to own the finance function for a hospitality group including a hotel, guesthouse, and restaurants. This is a hands-on, in-person leadership role working closely with ownership to drive profitability and growth.

The ideal candidate will bring 5–15 years in a group/ senior finance role within hospitality, strong leadership, and proficiency with MS Excel, accounting software, and systems such as Xero.

Qualifications

• Financial qualification (essential)
• 5–15 years’ experience in a Group Financial Manager / senior finance role
• Hospitality finance experience advantageous
• Operational and strategic financial management capability
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Advanced MS Excel and accounting software proficiency
• Xero Certification advantageous
• Semper PMS/POS experience advantageous

Responsibilities

• Oversee the full finance function across all units
• Prepare monthly management accounts, reporting and reconciliations
• Manage payroll, creditors, debtors and cash flow
