The ideal candidate has airport operations knowledge, strong leadership, and a proactive approach in Gauteng's dynamic environment, with the ability to manage schedules, mentor staff, and liaise with flight crews and authorities.

Qualifications

• 2+ years supervisory experience in airport ground handling
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Proficiency with airport operations software

Responsibilities

• Supervise ground handling crews including baggage handlers, ramp agents, and customer service staff
• Coordinate aircraft servicing activities such as baggage loading/unloading, cargo handling, and passenger boarding/disembarking
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, procedures, and company policies related to ground handling
• Monitor flight schedules and operational performance to maintain efficiency and punctuality
• Train and mentor ground handling staff to enhance performance and safety awareness
• Liaise with flight crews, airport authorities, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth aircraft ground operations
