Mpact Plastic Containers Castleview in Gauteng seeks a Grinder Operator to safely and efficiently operate grinding equipment to process plastic waste and production scrap into regrind material meeting quality and production standards. You will perform pre-start checks, set machine parameters, manage material feeding, report faults, maintain housekeeping, and comply with SHEQ and company procedures.

Matric with Maths/Tech Maths or Maths Literacy (50%) and 1–3 years in injection moulding

Introduction

The Grinder Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of grinding equipment to process plastic waste and production scrap into regrind material that meets the required quality and production standards. The role includes operating and monitoring the grinder, conducting pre-start checks, maintaining correct machine settings, managing material feeding, identifying and reporting equipment faults, maintaining good housekeeping, and ensuring compliance with all Safety, Health and Environmental (SHE) requirements and company procedures.
