GIZ is seeking a Technical Advisor to help young people move from training into work through the CPD4E project. Based at the Hatfield, Pretoria office on a contract until 31 August 2028 with possible extension, the role supports the development of green skills and employment pathways in SA; emphasis on women and girls in STEMfields and decarbonised sectors.

Qualificações

• Graduate university qualification in Engineering-related studies, Education or Business.
• 8 years’ relevant working experience.
• Experience with SA QCTO and SETA system.
• Experience with the South African TVET ecosystem and training system.
• Knowledge of qualification design and instructional design processes.
• Understanding skills supply and demand and growth areas in SA economy.
• Willingness to travel nationally and internationally and to work flexible hours.
• Excellent writing and communication skills, and fluency in English.

Responsabilidades

• Plan and deliver CPD4E work streams and monitor progress.
• Develop and oversee green-skills qualifications for Solar PV, energy efficiency, and EVs.
• Coordinate TVET staff training and engage host employers and training providers.
• Manage partnerships with government, NGOs, private sector and international platforms.
• Contribute to project design, budgets and reporting to GIZ standards.
