Job summary

Network Contracting is seeking a Mechanical Engineering graduate to support production by identifying bottlenecks, improving machine readiness, and driving continuous improvement in a Randburg/Roodepoort site.

You will work on structured problem-solving (RCA / 5 Why / Fishbone), develop SOPs, train teams, and document changes for audits, contributing to efficiency and quality in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering from a SA-recognised university.
• 0–2 years’ experience (graduate / internship welcomed).
• Strong willingness to work in a manufacturing / industrial environment.
• Must be able to work on-site in Randburg / Roodepoort.

Responsibilities

• Identify production bottlenecks and implement solutions to improve output and efficiency.
• Assist with machine setup optimisation and readiness checks for daily production requirements.
• Lead and participate in structured problem-solving initiatives (RCA / 5 Why / Fishbone).
• Train operators and production teams on improved methods and best practices; update SOPs and standards.
• Compile operational improvement reports and document solution implementation for audits.
