Job summary

ENGIE South Africa is looking for a Graduate Energy Analyst/Engineer to support the Renewable Generation unit through technical modelling, analysis, and optimisation of solar PV, wind, and BESS projects. You will gain exposure across the full project lifecycle and collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technical field.
• Interest in renewable energy technologies (solar, wind, BESS, hybrids).
• Strong analytical, documentation, and learning skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with screening and sizing of PV, wind, BESS, and hybrid configurations during feasibility and tender stages.
• Develop Excel- and Python-based models for sizing, dispatch, and performance analysis.
• Support technical reviews, inputs to EPC/PPA documentation, and project handover materials.
