Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of electrical systems for integrating renewable energy sources (solar, wind) and energy storage solutions into the grid.
• Develop and analyze complex power system studies , including load flow, stability, and fault analysis, related to renewable integration.
• Specify and select key electrical equipment such as inverters, transformers, switchgear, and battery energy storage systems (BESS).
• Oversee the project lifecycle, from feasibility studies and conceptual design through to commissioning and operation.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant grid codes, technical standards, and regulatory requirements for distributed energy resources.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers and technical staff involved in renewable energy projects.
• Collaborate with utility partners, regulatory bodies, and internal stakeholders to facilitate project success.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering with a specialization in Power Systems or Renewable Energy.
• 10+ years of experience in power systems engineering, with a significant focus on renewable energy integration and/or energy storage.
• Proven expertise in grid interconnection studies, power electronics, and protection systems for renewables.
• Experience with simulation software for power systems analysis (e.g., PSS/E, PSCAD, ETAP).
• Strong project management skills and experience leading complex technical projects.
