Job summary

International Facilities Services seeks a senior Training Leader to oversee pan-African training across 50 sites. You will design and govern the training strategy, manage service providers, and ensure certification of 7 000 employees in line with local legislation.

The role covers internship programs and multi-country operations, reporting monthly to the People Performance Manager. You will lead a team, drive competency frameworks, monitor spend and impact, and ensure training materials meet

Qualifications

• 8 years’ experience in training and skills development, of which at least 3 years a management level.
• Registered assessor and moderator accreditation (advantageous).
• Proven experience in managing internship and learnership programmes and training service providers.
• Experience in a multi-country environment (advantageous).

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the Group training strategy and annual training plans aligned to business needs.
• Translate objectives into measurable country/site training plans and govern training activities.
• Establish policies, budgets and reporting for training, assessment and certification.
• Oversee delivery of all mandatory, skills-based and outsourced training across the Group.
• Manage internship and learnership programmes and liaise with governments and providers.
• Track reporting, quality assurance and compliance with local regulations.

Education

Relevant degree in Human Resources, Education, Organisational Development or a related field
