Placements24 seeks a Remote Renewable Energy Policy Advisor to shape national and international energy policies. You will research, analyze policies, and develop evidence-based recommendations for policymakers and industry stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Master's or PhD in Public Policy, Environmental Science, Economics, Law, IR or related with energy focus.
• Minimum 6 years in energy policy analysis, research or advocacy.
• Demonstrated expertise in policy effectiveness, regulatory frameworks, and market mechanisms.
• Excellent research, analytical and quantitative skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• Stakeholder engagement experience is desirable.
• Familiarity with international energy policy frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive research on renewable energy technologies, markets, and policy landscapes.
• Analyze existing energy policies and identify strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities.
• Develop policy recommendations to promote deployment of renewable energy.
• Author policy briefs, research reports, white papers and case studies.
• Engage with policymakers, government officials, and industry leaders to advocate reforms.
• Monitor global energy trends and regulatory developments.
• Present research findings at conferences and stakeholder meetings.
• Collaborate with experts to share knowledge and best practices.
• Contribute to grant proposals to support policy research.
