Qualifications

• Master's or Ph.D. in a field with energy policy focus.
• At least 5 years of renewable energy policy experience.
• Knowledge of solar, wind, hydro, geothermal, biomass and market integration.
• Policy research, analysis, and report writing experience.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and facilitation.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting.
• Proficiency in research and data analysis tools.
• Familiarity with international energy markets and policy frameworks.
• Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Advise clients on the development, implementation, and evaluation of renewable energy policies, regulations, and incentive mechanisms.
• Conduct in-depth research and analysis on national and international energy policies and market trends.
• Assess the feasibility and impact of various renewable energy technologies and deployment strategies.
• Develop comprehensive policy recommendations and strategic roadmaps for renewable energy development.
• Engage with stakeholders, including government officials, industry representatives, and NGOs, to foster consensus and support for policy initiatives.
• Prepare high-quality reports, policy briefs, and presentations for diverse audiences.
• Support project management activities, including proposal development and client relationship management.
• Contribute to thought leadership by authoring articles, participating in webinars, and presenting at conferences.
• Monitor and analyze legislative and regulatory developments affecting the renewable energy sector.
• Collaborate effectively with a global, remote team of experts.
