Job summary

Placements24 seeks a knowledgeable Remote Renewable Energy Policy Advisor to shape policy in the clean energy transition. You will analyze regulatory landscapes, engage stakeholders, and provide expert guidance to support strategic objectives.

This fully remote role requires strong energy policy expertise, research prowess, and the ability to collaborate with global teams. You will monitor legislation, craft briefs, and influence policy decisions.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or PhD in Public Policy, Law, Environmental Science, Economics, or a related field with a focus on energy.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in energy policy analysis, government relations, or advocacy, with a focus on renewables.
• Deep understanding of the renewable energy sector, including policy frameworks, market mechanisms, and technological trends.

Responsibilities

• Research, analyze, and interpret renewable energy policies, regulations, and market trends at national and regional levels.
• Develop policy recommendations and advocacy strategies to support the growth of renewable energy.
• Engage with government agencies, industry associations, and other stakeholders to represent the company's policy interests.
• Prepare policy briefs, reports, and presentations for internal and external audiences.
• Monitor legislative developments and assess their potential impact on the company's operations and investments.
• Collaborate virtually with legal, strategy, and business development teams to align policy efforts with company goals from a remote perspective.
