Placements24 is seeking a Director of Remote Operations and Strategy to establish and lead a remote-first operational framework. This fully remote role prioritizes strategic oversight of operations impacting Stellenbosch, Western Cape while enabling a globally distributed workforce to perform at peak.

You will design processes, policies, and systems, collaborate with HR and IT, define KPIs, and drive continuous improvement in remote work practices to sustain operational excellence across time

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field.
• 10+ years in operations management with 5+ years remote/distributed teams.
• Proven remote work strategy and framework experience.
• Knowledge of collaboration tools and project management software.
• Strong leadership, communication, and change management skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a remote operations strategy for a globally distributed workforce.
• Design and enforce processes and guidelines for remote collaboration and productivity.
• Identify and implement remote work technologies to enhance efficiency.
• Establish KPIs for remote operations and monitor performance.
• Foster a cohesive remote company culture with collaboration and engagement.
