Job summary

Placements24 seeks a visionary Head of Global Operations to lead and redefine its international operations from a fully remote position. The strategic hub is Mossel Bay, Western Cape, but physical presence is not required.

You will oversee supply chain, logistics, manufacturing, and customer support across regions, leading large distributed teams and driving efficiency, scalability, and innovation worldwide.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, International Business, or a related field.
• Minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in operations management, with at least 10 years in senior leadership roles with global responsibility.
• Proven success in developing and implementing global operational strategies that have driven significant growth and efficiency.
• Expertise in international supply chain management, logistics, and global business operations.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and cross-cultural management skills.
• Proven ability to lead and manage remote, global teams effectively.
• Strong financial acumen and experience managing large international budgets.
• Proficiency in data-driven decision-making and performance management systems.
• Experience with change management and scaling operations in international markets.
• Must be legally authorized to work remotely and possess strong self-discipline and time management skills.
• A strategic mindset with the ability to think globally and act decisively.

Responsibilities
