Job summary

Apex Group is seeking a Manager to lead a SA-based team with Jersey oversight, ensuring effective client service and timely delivery of deliverables. The role involves coordinating with Senior Management across jurisdictions, establishing clear structures, and guiding onboarding and client take-on processes.

You will mentor staff, review regulatory and administrative work, and participate in client calls and board meetings, while maintaining high standards of integrity and service excellence.

Qualifications

• Professional qualifications – LLB, BCom LLB. Admitted Attorney is relevant for the position.
• Post articles experience and strong administrative skills
• ICSA, CSSA or equivalent
• 7 years of relevant industry experience in administration of trusts and working with corporate entities
• Knowledge of offshore regulatory requirements
• Impeccable written and oral communication skills

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Senior Management in SA and Jersey to assist and coordinate workflows and planning for the team.
• Ensure the team has a strong structure as it grows and that roles and responsibilities are clearly defined and agreed.
• Assist the team with new structure and client take on.
• Participate with and take responsibility for client care focus and lead CRM for certain clients.
• Ensure client service delivery is carried out to the highest level, driving deadline delivery and adherence to procedures.
• Review Company Secretarial and administrative work done by team as appropriate.
• Provide technical support to the team.
• Join client calls and deal with intermediaries.
• Encourage cross-country relationships and feedback on performance.
• Assist with billing cycles and WIP/debtors management.
• Review transaction documentation where necessary.
• Support onboarding of new investors/clients for AML process.
• Embed adherence to operational frameworks and procedures
• Identify training needs and arrange sessions
• Oversee day-to-day operations of team portfolios and client inquiries
• Attend client board meetings and draft complex minutes
• Lead internal projects as required
• Handle payments, transactions, CoSec, Corp Gov, board packs, communications, AML/DD/KYC, FATCA, CRS
