Job summary

West Coast Personnel is seeking an experienced Export Logistics Coordinator to oversee export shipments, vessel bookings and container planning in Stellenbosch. You will liaise with shipping lines, freight forwarders, transporters and cold stores, ensuring deadlines and regulatory compliance.

You will also support the commercial team with orders, stock planning and shipment reporting, maintaining accurate stock records and proactive communication across departments in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 to 8 years' experience in the fruit export industry.
• Experience in high-volume export environment.
• Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or a related field.
• Strong communication, organisational and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate export shipments, vessel bookings, container planning and loading schedules. Liaise with shipping lines, freight forwarders, transporters and cold stores. Monitor shipment progress and meet shipping deadlines.
• Assist commercial team with orders, stock planning and shipment reporting, and maintain accurate stock records and logistics information.
