Job summary

Greys Recruitment is seeking a detail-oriented Dispatch Clerk / Logistics Administrator for a busy fruit cold storage and export operation in Coega, Gqeberha. The role coordinates client bookings, captures shipment specs, prepares dispatch docs, maintains records, and liaises with clients, freight forwarders, inspectors and internal teams.

You will need strong admin skills, excellent Excel proficiency, accuracy under pressure, and experience in logistics administration or related fields is

Qualifications

• Previous logistics administration or dispatch experience is beneficial.
• Strong administrative and record-keeping skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
• Good communication with clients, transporters, and internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate client bookings and capture shipment specifications.
• Prepare dispatch documentation and maintain accurate records.
• Compile operational reports and monitor timelines.
• Liaise with freight forwarders, inspectors and internal teams.
• Ensure compliance with cooling protocols and packaging requirements.
• Manage inventory of temp devices, labels and related consumables.
• Generate daily/weekly/monthly Excel reports for management.
• Process charges and ensure documentation and approvals are complete.
• Support end-of-day close-out procedures and documentation.
