Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of experience in freight forwarding or international logistics.
• Deep knowledge of shipping terms, incoterms, customs procedures, and global trade regulations.
• Experience with sea, air, and road transport.
• Strong negotiation and written/verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in freight forwarding software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent organizational skills with ability to manage multiple shipments simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate international and domestic freight movements via sea, air, and road.
• Prepare and process all necessary shipping documentation, including customs declarations, bills of lading, and invoices.
• Liaise with customs brokers, shipping lines, airlines, and trucking companies to ensure smooth transit.
• Track shipments and provide regular updates to clients on their cargo status.
• Quote clients for freight services, negotiate rates with carriers, and secure competitive pricing.
• Identify and resolve any issues or delays that may arise during the shipping process.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant import/export regulations and company policies.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all shipments and transactions.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, carriers, and other service providers.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of forwarding processes and services.
