Qualifications
- Experience as Freight Forwarder or similar international logistics role.
- Knowledge of international shipping regulations, customs procedures and documentation.
- Ability to coordinate shipments across air, sea and land with cost awareness.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficient with freight forwarding software.
Responsibilities
- Arrange and coordinate shipments via air, sea and land.
- Prepare shipping documents including bills of lading and customs declarations.
- Liaise with customs brokers, carriers and clients for compliant transit.
- Track shipments and provide timely cargo status updates.
- Negotiate rates with carriers for competitive pricing.
- Resolve issues or delays during the shipping process.
