Job summary

Helderberg Personnel CC is seeking an experienced Export Logistics Co-ordinator to manage export orders for African markets, ensure accurate documentation, and coordinate shipments with freight forwarders and agents.

You will process orders on Syspro, prepare SAWIS, customs/excise documentation, and liaise with clients and internal teams to ensure on-time, compliant delivery while maintaining records and driving process improvements.

Qualifications

• Matric/Grade 12 required.
• Tertiary qualification advantageous.
• 23 years' experience in shipping, freight forwarding or export logistics.
• Good knowledge of export processes, Incoterms and export documentation.
• Experience with African markets advantageous.
• Excellent computer literacy.
• Advanced MS Excel skills.
• Syspro experience advantageous.
• Strong planning, organisational and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Receiving and processing export orders for African markets.
• Managing all aspects of export documentation.
• Processing and invoicing orders on Syspro.
• Preparing SAWIS, customs and excise documentation/returns.
• Coordinating shipments with freight forwarders, customs agents and transport providers.
• Monitoring and tracking shipments and resolving delays or issues.
• Ensuring shipments are delivered accurately, compliantly and on time.
• Maintaining accurate export, logistics and order records.
• Liaising with clients and agents locally and internationally.
• Working with Sales, Planning, Finance and Production departments.
• Assisting with continuous improvement of export and logistics processes.
• Handling general administration related to export functions.
