The Recruiters is seeking an organised Export Logistics Coordinator to join our busy Export team in Stellenbosch. You will coordinate the end-to-end export process for Africa markets, ensuring accurate documentation, compliant shipments and timely deliveries.

The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, works across departments, and demonstrates strong attention to detail. A matric or higher qualification and experience in export logistics will be advantageous.

Qualifications

• Matric essential; relevant tertiary qualification advantageous.
• 23 years' experience in shipping, freight forwarding or export logistics.
• Strong knowledge of export processes, Incoterms and export documentation requirements.
• Experience working with African markets highly advantageous.
• Excellent MS Excel skills; Syspro experience advantageous.

• Export & Documentation: Manage all export documentation. Process and invoice orders accurately. Prepare SAWIS, Customs and Excise returns.
• Order & Shipment Coordination: Receive and process export orders for Africa markets. Coordinate with freight forwarders, customs agents and transport providers.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Liaise with local and international clients and agents. Work with Sales, Planning, Finance and Production.
• General Administration: Manage administration; provide professional and timely support to colleagues and external stakeholders.

EXPORT LOGISTICS COORDINATOR AFRICA MARKETS

Location: Stellenbosch, Cape Town

Start date: As soon as possible

An exciting opportunity is available for an organised and detail-oriented Export Logistics Coordinator to join a busy Export team based in Stellenbosch.

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating the end-to-end export process for Africa markets, ensuring accurate documentation, compliant shipments and timely deliveries.

This role would suit someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys working across departments and has strong attention to detail.

While the primary focus will be on Africa markets, the role will also include shipments to other international destinations as required to support the team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Export & Documentation
  Manage all aspects of export documentation. Process and invoice orders accurately on Syspro. Prepare SAWIS, Customs and Excise returns. Maintain accurate logistics records and data across relevant systems.
• Order & Shipment Coordination
  Receive and process export orders for Africa markets. Coordinate with freight forwarders, customs agents and transport providers. Monitor and track shipments, proactively addressing any delays or issues. Ensure customer deliveries are completed accurately, compliantly and on time.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration
  Liaise with local and international clients and agents. Work closely with Sales, Planning, Finance and Production to ensure accurate order fulfilment. Contribute to ongoing improvements within export and logistics processes.
• General Administration
  Manage all administration associated with the role. Provide professional and timely support to colleagues and external stakeholders.

Excellent computer literacy with advanced MS Excel skills . Syspro experience advantageous. Strong planning, organisational and time-management skills. Reliable transport required.
