Job summary

Initiate in Cape Town is seeking a German-speaking Customer Service & Sales Representative to support an international airline brand. You will assist passengers with travel-related enquiries, reservations, and concerns, delivering professional and efficient service across their journey.

The role requires native-level German, strong communication, and the ability to perform in a fast-paced contact centre. You will work 40 hours per week in rotational shifts, including weekends/public holidays,

Qualifications

• Native-level fluency in German with excellent written and spoken communication.
• Strong computer literacy and technical aptitude.

Responsibilities

• Assist German- and English-speaking passengers with travel-related enquiries before and after flights.
• Handle incoming customer calls and written correspondence relating to reservations, travel arrangements and general customer service.
• Use airline reservation systems to access information, manage enquiries and provide accurate assistance.
• Respond to passenger complaints and resolve service issues professionally and efficiently.
• Maintain high standards of customer service while meeting agreed performance targets and KPIs.
• Communicate clearly with international customers, ensuring a positive and professional experience.
• Adapt to a dynamic contact centre environment where accuracy, efficiency and timely responses are essential.
