The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of hands-on experience with industrial machinery, pumps, turbines, valves, and instrumentation systems, and can read technical manuals and schematics.

About the Role

Our client is seeking a hands-on and technically adept Geothermal Energy Systems Technician to join their operational team in Welkom . This role is vital for the day-to-day functioning and maintenance of geothermal power generation facilities. You will be responsible for the installation, operation, troubleshooting, and repair of geothermal energy systems and associated equipment. This is a field-based position that requires a strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work effectively in a challenging, hands-on environment to ensure continuous energy production.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, operate, and maintain geothermal power plant equipment, including turbines, pumps, and heat exchangers.
• Perform routine inspections, diagnostics, and preventative maintenance on all system components.
