The ideal candidate has a technical qualification in mechanical, electrical, or plumbing trades, with at least three years’ experience.

Qualifications

• Technical qualification or certification in mechanical, electrical, or plumbing trades.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience working with mechanical systems.
• Experience or aptitude with drilling equipment, pumps, and heat exchangers is advantageous.
• Knowledge of electrical and plumbing principles.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
• Physical fitness to work in Port Elizabeth conditions.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair geothermal heat pumps, drilling equipment, and piping/electrical systems.
• Perform regular inspections and diagnostics on geothermal systems to identify issues.
• Monitor performance data and adjust to optimize efficiency and output.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and plumbing problems in geothermal systems.

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing problems related to geothermal systems.

Requirements
